I still remember my first conversation with Jarrett in the summer of 2022 about the idea for The Directors Club.

Even then, the vision was clear — bring great people in our industry together, create real connections, and build a space where leaders could genuinely learn from one another.

I’m really excited for the 2026 retreat, especially with KK&W and Club Benchmarking being part of it. The momentum is real, and it’s been great to see this community continue to evolve and make a meaningful impact on the industry.

One unexpected phone call changed the direction of my career. After 25 years in the racquet sports industry, I was still searching for clarity, transparency, and real guidance. I reached out—cold—to Michael Jordan at Dallas Country Club. We didn’t know each other, and he had no reason to take my call—yet he did.

That conversation reminded me of the power of this industry when people choose to lead with openness and generosity. It sparked a desire to surround myself with more professionals who believe in lifting others up. That search led me to the Directors’ Club of America (DCA), and everything changed from there.

Since joining DCA, my professional trajectory has accelerated. My thinking shifted from limitations to possibilities. I’ve gained access to opportunities I never would have found on my own and built relationships that have strengthened both my career and my personal life.

As we work to integrate these sports alongside our traditional offerings of Tennis, Squash, Badminton, and Table Tennis, it is essential that new facilities are purpose‑built and of premier quality.
